ABOUT ME

WHO I AM
I probably spent an hour staring at “Untitled” (Portrait of Ross in LA) by Felix Gonzalez-Torres (1991) during a visit to the Art Institute of Chicago as I considered my own weight in candy - trying to reconcile who I am and the silent complicity of each visitor who took a piece with them.

When present - dialogic communication should guide the direction of an emerging issues but effective change must include active and passive publics. As a public relations manager I try to assess the needs of an organization with a strategic plan the supports the current goals and objectives.

And somewhere between modern art and public relations - I enjoy narrative writing.

If I were going to write a book it would be about my experience as a black single mother with simple ideas that add real value entitled Pretty Ditsy Genius: Disarming labels that destroy confidence - The subtle nuance of shame and how to unravel blame.
